Women's Bible Study

A few weeks ago, Jodie started talking to Christina and I about doing a Women's Bible Study with the ladies from our churches.  The CEIM and Baptist churches here, while very similar in doctrine, do not collaborate very often - if at all.  Jodie was hoping to see these ladies all come together to study God's word and then to go out and share these stories with people in their own communities.  Christina and I both thought it was a great idea and were excited to support her however we could.

This past Saturday, we gathered together at one of the local CEIM churches and over 20 women from 4 different churches showed up!  It was exciting to see them singing, fellowshipping, and learning together.  Jodie did an excellent job of leading a devotional about how they could be a light to their individual communities and how effective we can be if we all come together.  We each led a small group in a get to know you activity and prayed for one another.

It was such a special time and we are thankful to start meeting twice a month with this group of ladies.  Please pray for these women and those who may attend in the future.  We'd also love for you to keep each of us and our language fluency in your prayers!
