Where Would You Like To Go?

Tuesday Tidbits

- "Love the Lord your God, with all of your heart, all of your soul, and all of your strength."  Deuteronomy 6:5   This has been the most recent memory verse that Ryleigh has learned and it's turned into her favorite.  It might be the hand motions that go along with it, or perhaps He's cultivating that desire in her to know even now that He is the only answer.  That He must encompass all of us - that is what LOVE is...truly a great reminder for this momma to hear multiple times a day!

- read this on A Holy Experience this week and just had to share...
“And what if He doesn’t?”
What if He doesn’t — what if He doesn’t do what we plea, what we pray, what we believe He can and will do and should do?
Even if He doesn’t do what we beg, we are still His beloved.
Even if He doesn’t, He still is.
Even if He doesn’t do what we will, His will is still right and His heart is still good and the people of God will not waver.
Real prayer has eyes on Christ, not the crisis.
Even if He doesn’t – He does give enough — Himself.
Even if He doesn’t – He does still love us.
“If He doesn’t — I will still believe. Still believe — in Him.” Ann Voscamp

-Ate lunch with this precious family on Saturday.  They are dear to our hearts and our life here wouldn't be the same without them.  Christine started out as a part time helper around the house when we were in language school and now 2 years later they both help us with everything around the house, taking care of the chickens, loving on Ryleigh, helping us all with our Malagasy, and the list could go on.  We value their friendship and know they are a blessing from Him!

-Absolutely BEAUTIFUL words..."I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels." ISAIAH 61 : 10

 - I love reading a blog post and hearing Him speak through the lives of His daughters who are traveling this journey of life too -
“You can be lost and you can be found on the pages of a book. Worship lives in the telling. Because telling is testifying and testifying is seeing and seeing is believing all the endings that up until now have been blind faith. Sometimes you have to walk onto a page to walk out yourself.” – Lisa Jo Baker
