Spring is in the air

After some crazy weather these past few weeks...it seems like SPRING has finally SPRUNG!

                                       
 

My aunt alanna and I did some spring shopping for her graduation present!!

Mom seems to like taking my pictures no matter the weather - but we'd both rather it be pretty outside!! 

I'm 3 months old!

Hi guys - mom said I could try my hand at blogging again today.  Mom kept telling me that yesterday was an important day and asking if I was glad that it was my 3 month birthday and I thought I was- I grinned and laughed all morning

However, soon I was sitting at my doctor's office and I had a feeling I knew what was coming...SHOTS - yeah, not so sure what I think about those!

But, my doctor did say I was healthy - 13lbs 6oz and 25 inches long!  She also said I needed to keep building my muscles...so you know what that means - more tummy time!

After we got home from the doctor, the weather went from sunny to dark.  It was pretty loud outside for a while!  Mommy's friend Anna felt bad for us once the power went out and told us we should come to her house for supper!  I was excited about going over there because that means I get to play with Big J and Little A...they're having a baby in September - so I'm good training for them!

I sat with Big J and watched my 1st ever Final Four game...I was cheering for Butler but it didn't seem to help :(

All in all I guess it ended up being a pretty good day...I even ended it with a smile - hope you did too!

Crating is COMPLETE!

This past Thursday we were finally able to crate our things for Madagascar.  The crating guys showed up at 8:30 that morning and were greeted by this...

The guys had to go through each box to create their own inventory list and put all of our loose items in big boxes.  It was then all packed in a moving truck and we drove to the crating site.  It took a while for them to unload everything!!  Ryleigh was a trooper but crating wore her out!  We decided to rock one last time before the glider went on the crate!

By 3:30 that afternoon it looked like this...

Well...that's what one looked like - we ended up filling 2 crates...it's kinda crazy to think about how much stuff is stuffed in these wooden crates!  The crates will be shipped over once we arrive in Mada...we hope to see them sometime in October.  We wonder if we'll have already adjusted and will just laugh at the stuff we packed OR if we'll be super happy to see it - I'm sure it'll be a mixture of both and will be thankful to see some of it!
